Ohio State traveled to Edinboro, PA to take on the Edinboro Fighting Scots on December 14. Edinboro, ranked 17 nationally, jumped out to an early lead but the Buckeyes battled back to win six of the 10 contested matches to take a 19-12 victory into the holiday break. Reece Humphrey had a 14-6 major decision over former Ohio state champion Ricky Deubel. Sean Nemec looked impressive winning a 7-4 decision over Paul Paddock. Jason Johnstone wrestled a tough opponet in former national champion Gregor Gillespie but fell 6-2. The Buckeyes return to action after the New Year again Kent State.
