Ohio State vs. Kent State

Ohio State hosted the Kent State Golden Flashes on January 4 at St. John's Arena. The Buckeyes did not look like themselves during this dual. I must say it was the worst performance by the Buckeyes during this short season. With two matches left in the dual, Ohio State found themselves behind 13-15 to the Golden Flashes. Lance Palmer came up with a major decision victory at 149 pounds to put Ohio State ahead 17-15. This meant that the winner of the match at 157 pounds would win the dual for his team. Jason Johnstone fell behind 2-0 to start the match but stormed back to pick up a 9-3 victory and a team victory for the wrestling Buckeyes.
